DENIAL OF JIHAAD IS A KUFR BY MUFTI RASHEED AHMED LUDHYANVI While delivering a speech on Jihaad to a gathering of 'Ulamah and Muftiaan the Sheikh Mufti Rasheed Ahmad said that in Islam all those who believe in Allah must, as a part of their faith, participate in Jihaad. Therefore anyone who denies this aspect of Islam, and has no inclination of participating in an armed struggle, is undoubtedly a Kaafir and excluded from Islam. Similarly if a person does believe in Jihaad, but despite having the means to participate, declines to join in any aspect of Jihaad, then he is refraining from fulfilling his duty to Allah (Fard) and is thus a Faasiq (disobedient). The Sheikh Mufti Rasheed Ahmad has
stated that apart from Jihaad on the battlefield there are also other
aspects of an armed struggle in which an individual can participate
according to his capabilities. For instance helping a Mujaahid
financially, calling people to Jihad, propagating Jihaad via appropriate
means and praying for the success of the Mujahideen. He also invited
everyone to look at themselves in the light of the following Ahaadeeth
from Saheeh Muslim: And ponder on the implications. Mufti Sahib says that some of today's so-called Muslims are speaking against the idea of Jihaad and are trying to remove any notion of Jihaad from the Muslim Ummah... Beware my Brothers and Sisters in Islam!
